X Mas Poem from a Cowboy Fan!
Your season will be over by the end of the week, then we will have silence because they will have nothing to speak...
Off Dallas, off Washington, to the playoffs you will go. The Giants will not be there, they will be a no show...
So savor, and enjoy last years Chip, because on this years playoff radar they won't even be a Blip!
So Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa to all on this site... Celebrate, spread cheer, and party through out the nite! Ho, Ho, Ho!

"A Poetic Prayer" Video By Poetic Law
I was sent this video by my very good friend (Poetic Law) whom I have known for over 30 years. Back in the day he was an up and coming rapper, but Poetic Law was a athlete first. He passionately pursued a career in baseball. When that did not come to fruition, he started to work. Met the love of his life, and started to grow his family. For years he paused his GOD given talent, and focused on raising his family. Time and life experiences matured him as he grew spiritually. He then began to transformed his Hip Hop lyrics into metaphysical poetry; quenching his artistic thirst... His thirst to positively express thoughts and knowledge to the masses... Meanwhile the fire within kindled slowly. Poetic Law has always been a person willing to help those in need, or express kind words to ones needing exhilaration. Over the years he has made several poetic videos exhibiting his talent. Now he has taken it to another level! The fire is now in full blaze! Please enjoy this video, and spread the good word.
Give Thanks!

A Jazzy nite at the Garage!
Last night I was able to experience The Carl Bartlett Jr. Trio at the Garage Restaurant & Cafe in Greenwich Village; the show was soulful.
Carl Bartlett Jr. was silky smooth on his sax, at times putting me in a jazzaphonic trance. Or was that the Pinot Noir? Ha Ha! Sharp Radway's fingers were dancing across the piano keys in perfect sync with each other, producing crisp and precise notes. Eric Lemon was strumming harmonic low tones on his bounteous bass. Together they blended superbly, spawning some serious need to hear jazz. Guitarist Koji Yoneyama sat in and was very impressive. His burnish tickling of his strings seamlessly fused with the band, and brought a welcomed element the set.
The ambiance, decor, and atmosphere at the Garage was felicitous; a nice place to chill. The food was savory as well. I had the pan seared Mahi Mahi drizzled with teriyaki glaze; it accompanied gently seasoned rice.... Scrumptious!
All in all it was a a very good night! What more can you ask for? Cool jazz, and good food and drink. Make it your business to check out these passionate cats perform. And if you are in the Village pop into the Garage for a bit to eat. I am sure they will have good music playing.
Also to mention brother Carl has his debut CD titled HOPEFUL circulating the stratosphere that is getting rave reviews... So stop fronting and get it!

Jazz Stephane Birthday Jam!
I was privileged to help celebrate and capture Jazz Stephane's birthday in the beautiful Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. I also was very fortunate to meet sensational Jazz saxophonist Carl Bartlett Jr of the Carl Bartlett Jr Quartet. What a great night! Alan Stromberg was rocking his Sax as well!
